‘Tis the Season to be Reading!

The Christmas season understandably brings out the best in all of us as giving is the theme. In keeping with the spirit of giving, we have provided a list of Christmas books for your children to enjoy during the winter break. If you are a parent, guardian, family member, friend or mentor reading with a child is something that not only increases the bond but also heightens their awareness, as reading is the gateway to continual growth and learning.

To make it more interesting serve up a round of hot coco and their favorite snack and make it an all out special occasion, one that they will remember for many years to come. We hope that you will enjoy the books courtesy of our list or work with your children to compile your own list of favorite Christmas books. We encourage you to enjoy the simple pleasures of reading with your little ones and not so little ones [preteen and teens] as reading should never grow old. Be sure to check your local library or bookstore in addition to modern technology, Kindle for the following book selections and more. Merry Christmas to you all and here is to Happy Reading!
