Mo’ne Davis New Line of Sneakers Will Help Impoverished Girls
Mo’ne Davis just keeps hitting home runs! The 13-year-old little league star unveils a new line of sneakers that will help impoverished girls around the globe. Teaming up with shoe company M4D3 (Make A Difference Everyday), under the “Because I am a Girl” initiative, the Mo’ne-designed sneakers come in four different colors, complete with baseball-themed stitching. The shoe line will debut this summer, with 15 percent of the proceeds aiding impoverished girls.
Mo’ne expressed her excitement and involvement for the new shoe line through a statement released by the company.
“I never thought at the age of 13 I’d be a role model, but having young girls look up to me is pretty cool. If I can inspire them to reach their goals, that would be even cooler.”
It’s looks like this young sports star can add entrepreneurship and philanthropy to her list of growing accomplishments.
