Sad News: ‘Chicago Fire’ cast member DuShon Monique Brown, has passed away

Sadly ‘Chicago Fire’ cast member DuShon Monique Brown, has passed away at the age of 49 reportedly from a heart attack.

 
Shortly after her untimely death was announced, Dick Wolf the producer of the NBC popular drama series released a statement regarding the tragic news.
 
“The Chicago Fire family is devastated to lose one of its own,” he wrote. “Our thought and prayers are with DuShon’s family and we will all miss her.”
 
Brown joined the Chicago Fire family when it first aired in 2012 and was best known for her recurring role as Connie, Assistant to Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker). Her additional work credit included “Prison Break,” “Shamless,” and “Empire.”
 
The news of Browns death has not only impacted her cast-mates, but also her family, including her daughter Zoe.
